Derek Jeter's card platform is going NFL. The Philadelphia Eagles announced a multi-year partnership Monday with Arena Club — the trading card marketplace and grading platform Jeter co-founded — designating the company a "Proud Partner" of the team and marking the brand's first official collaboration with a National Football League club.

The Deal

Arena Club, co-founded by Jeter and entrepreneurs Brian Lee and Jesse Glass, runs a combined marketplace and grading platform where collectors can grade, buy, sell and hold cards in one app. Its signature product is Slab Packs: digital packs backed by physical graded cards. A collector who opens one can keep the card in Arena Club's online marketplace, list it for sale, or have the physical slab shipped to their door.

Per the team's official announcement, the partnership is fully integrated. Arena Club branding will get exposure at Lincoln Financial Field through LED signage and game-day activations, and a social series will roll out across the team's digital channels featuring Eagles players opening Slab Packs.

What It Includes

  • A co-branded sweepstakes awarding two tickets and pregame sideline passes to the 2026 Eagles home opener, a tour of the Jefferson Health Training Complex, and an Arena Club pack opening in the Eagles Draft Room — entries at ArenaClub.com/giveaway
  • A limited-time 20% discount on a first Slab Pack for Eagles fans, redeemable with promo code EAGLES
  • Multi-year branding exposure in-stadium and across the team's digital channels throughout the 2026 season and beyond

Why It Matters

"Partnering with an industry leader like Arena Club gives us new ways to bring fans closer to the game and players they love," said Brian Napoli, the Eagles' Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships, in the announcement. Arena Club CEO Brian Lee framed the tie-up around the hobby's mainstream reach: "The Philadelphia Eagles have one of the most passionate fanbases, and that passion extends to the collecting world."

The deal lands as the hobby's biggest football season in years approaches — licensed Topps paper football returns with Flagship reaching retail August 21 (CASE #0214) — and it is a sign of how far card brands have pushed into mainstream sports marketing. A grading platform securing in-stadium signage with an NFL club is the kind of placement that was unthinkable for the hobby just a few years ago. Heavy, which independently covered the announcement Monday, confirmed the agreement as Arena Club's first official partnership with an NFL organization.

The Verdict

Arena Club just bought itself a seat at the NFL's table — and the hobby gains a mainstream football-season entry point. The sweepstakes, the player-driven Slab Pack videos and the stadium signage all point the same direction: card companies are spending like sports marketers now, not like niche hobby vendors. With Flagship Football weeks away, the timing could hardly be better.
